Worship

Worship is at the center of our life together. Whatever else we do, we recognize that in worship we encounter God in a special way together, receive spiritual nourishment for our journey, and go with God’s blessing to love and serve others. We try to make worship engaging, uplifting, informative, and challenging in the sense that we believe God is at work in worship to transform us, making us more like Christ as we enjoy God’s presence.

We gather weekly, and on special days, to worship God by offering praise through music, seeking God’s comfort and guidance in prayer, hearing God’s Word proclaimed in Scripture, Sermon, and Sacrament, and encouraging one another in friendship. The Bible says the first church, “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and the prayers.” (Acts 2:42) At Gateway, we may do more than these, but never less.

In person Sunday worship begins at 10:30 a.m. at Gateway Presbyterian Church. The church is located at 731 Castle Road, Colorado Springs, Co 80904.

Can’t make it into the church? You can still worship with us! Grab your coffee and meet us on-line for Sunday worship. Gathering time is 10:15 a.m. and worship begins at 10:30 a.m.

Communion

We celebrate the Sacrament of Communion on the first Sunday of each month.  Children are welcome at the discretion of their parents.  At Gateway, the Lord’s table is open to all who seek to know and love Christ. 

Music

Music is important to the life and worship of Gateway and is an avenue for serving God with our gifts.  If you have any questions or would like to join the choir, please contact the church office.
