Welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you
What are our worship services like?
Our worship services provide an atmosphere for Spirit-filled worship and hearing God’s Word proclaimed. During worship we aim to connect with God and each other in Christian fellowship.
Who is welcome to come?
All are welcome! Gateway Presbyterian Church is made up of people from diverse political and faith perspectives. When we gather, Christ is at the center and our differences become less important than the love which holds us together as the body of Christ.
How long are our worship services?
Our services are typically 60 minutes in duration.
What is our style of worship at Gateway?
Our worship can be called blended/traditional. We sing hymns and praise songs. We use confessions and creeds to recall the foundations of our faith.
What is the typical attire at Gateway?
We invite you to come as you are.
Is there a place for my children?
Absolutely! We have a room dedicated for small children up to age 5. Although we do not have nursery staff at this time, parents are welcome to be with their children in the nursery if they desire. There is a speaker in the nursery to hear what takes place in the sanctuary.
Are our children welcome to attend worship in the sanctuary?
Absolutely. Children are always welcome in worship, not only for the “children’s sermon” but for all of worship. In fact, children minister to all of us through their curiosity and wonder. They remind us of innocent joy and help us remember that Jesus said, “Let the children come to me… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)
